Lifta is a Palestinian village in the outskirts of Jerusalem, whose Palestinian inhabitants fled in 1948. The village, the last standing Palestinian village of its kind, is about to be turned into a luxury Israeli neighborhood.
Yakoub Odeh, 71, a former resident of Lifta, is part of a group of former residents and NGOs campaigning to save the village.
